Being Brave | My Etsy Shop is Now Open!

You could say that my journey started when I was child. For many years, I enjoyed painting and drawing until I felt like I wasn’t good enough and gave up. Later on, I was captivated with origami and folded what felt like thousands of paper cranes, turtles, flowers, stars, and 3D objects. Soon my life was filled with schoolwork from high school to college to graduate school, and I prioritized other things over my art and crafts.

I rekindled my journey again in early 2017 when I received a reindeer amigurumi as a holiday gift from a colleague. I thought HOW COOL AND CUTE IS THIS? I bet I could make this. And before I knew it, I was obsessed with crochet. It was so fun to create something, and I was happy to have a hobby again. Somehow along the way I discovered brush lettering and copperplate and modern calligraphy. And soon I received a Cricut Explore Air 2 as a gift from my best friend.

It’s been a little over 4 years since I became active with my art and crafts again. Throughout this time, I’ve heard:

And I’ve always responded with excuses like:

At the end of 2020, I spent a lot of time self-reflecting. Feeling unsatisfied with being stagnant, I thought if I don’t put myself out there now, it’ll never happen. I’ll never be “good enough”. Let’s just do this and see what happens. I then declared 2021 is my year of creativity.

And so here we are! My Shop is now open! Greeting cards are now in stock and so are my rainbow pastel crochet pins. I’m also accepting custom orders. Check out my Portfolio for the customizations I offer. I will soon expand to other fun things, like stickers and amigurumi items. Stay tuned!
